It has been awhile since I did a dessert for Tasty Tuesday and I figured it was about time. I saw this recipe in a coupon ad back near the Super Bowl, but never got around to making it until now.
Gooey Peanut Butter S'Mores Brownies courtesy of Skippy Peanut Butter.
Ingredients
- Boxed brownie mix (and the things you need for that, i.e. the oil and eggs)
- 1 cup chocolate frosting
- 1 cup peanut butter (yeah, I'm not using Skippy, sorry)
- 1 jar marshmallow cream
Prepare the brownie batter according to the directions on the box. Pretty simple
Once the brownies have cooked and cooled, evenly drop the marshmallow creme onto the brownies with a spoon. Microwave the chocolate frosting and peanut butter in microwave-safe bowls until they are smooth and melted. The frosting took about 30 seconds and the peanut butter took about 55 seconds. It might vary for you though.
Pour the chocolate frosting and then the peanut butter over the marshmallow creme and swirl with a butter knife, spreading all over the brownies.
I think I may have used a bit too much chocolate, because it is hard to see any of my marshmallow creme, but it is there, and they are delicious. This was a crazy simple recipe, with all things I happened to have on hand. It is an easy way to jazz up the simple boxed brownies.
Hope everyone enjoys!
Peace out *g*
My teeth ache from thinking about that sweet deliciousness... they look tasty!!
